Below Is a Narrative Poem Written By Us
That’s The Way It Happened
By: Haley, Kenna, and Winston
That’s the way it happened.
I was jogging up grandpa’s drive, to him in his lawn chair.
When he just disappeared, into thin air.
I ran as fast as I could to go tell gram,
when I tripped across the river and fell into the dam.
Gram came running, as soon as she heard me cry,
she assured me I wouldn't die.
I told her about grandpa,
and she sent me a smile.
I knew I would go home and cry for a while,
but she seemed okay, so I went on my way,
and that’s the way it happened.
